WHO IS TOPDOG ROOFING?

A Southern Maine roofing company built around straightforward service.

TopDog Roofing LLC is based in Dayton, Maine and provides residential roof repair, roof replacement and roof inspections throughout York County, Cumberland County and surrounding Southern Maine communities.

Maine roofs take a beating. Wind, rain, snow, ice, temperature changes and coastal weather all expose weak points eventually. Our job isn't to turn every roof problem into the biggest possible project. It's to figure out what's actually happening and recommend a sensible way to address it.

Sometimes that means replacing the roof. Sometimes it means fixing a failed pipe boot, flashing detail, damaged shingles or another localized problem and getting more useful life out of the roof you already have.

OWNER-INVOLVED ROOFING

You should know who you're hiring.

TopDog Roofing is owned by Colin Allen and operates from Dayton, Maine. Homeowners aren't dealing with a faceless national brand when they contact TopDog—they're working with a local roofing company whose reputation is tied directly to the work being done around its own communities.

That owner involvement matters during estimating, troubleshooting and project decisions. If something unusual is uncovered, if the scope changes, or if a homeowner simply has a question, the goal is to provide a straight answer rather than make the process harder than it needs to be.

HOW WE APPROACH THE WORK

The roof matters. So does everything around it.

Good roofing isn't just whether the shingles look nice when the crew leaves. It's the diagnosis, scope, preparation, installation, communication and cleanup that get you there.

Repair when repair makes sense.

One roof leak doesn't automatically mean an entire roof needs to be replaced. Localized problems deserve to be evaluated as localized problems.

Make the scope understandable.

Homeowners should know what's being removed, what is being installed and what could affect the project before work begins.

Protect more than the roof.

Roofing happens above siding, landscaping, decks, driveways and everything else surrounding a home. Property protection and debris control are part of the project.

Finish the whole job.

Cleanup, loose nails, leftover material and final details matter. Installation isn't finished just because the last shingle has been fastened.

REAL WORK. NOT STOCK PHOTOGRAPHY.

AFTER INSTALLATION

A roof isn't something you should forget exists for the next decade.

TopDog's roof-check and maintenance program is designed to catch smaller issues such as sealant wear, flashing movement or minor damage before they have the chance to become larger roof problems.

Eligible homeowners participating in the program may also qualify for extended workmanship coverage, subject to the applicable program terms and continued maintenance requirements.
